3. Unencumbered Camera Movement. Have you ever noticed that some articles of clothing do not work well on camera? Typically these are articles with tight patterns and the trouble is aliasing - "squiggly" lines that don't exist in the real world but show up on video. LED walls can display a similar aliasing effect because of the patterns of the LED pixels. This can hinder camera movement and what's possible. And our understanding is that this is a real problem for those creating content via LED. The L.A. Castle Studios technique for XR filming allows for full, free, unemcumbered movement. From sweeping jib moves, to subtle pans, directors are free to direct to their vision for the production.
