L.A. Castle Studios, Located in the
“Media Capital of the World,” Burbank, California, is Perhaps the Most Technologically Advanced 4K Television and
Feature Film Studio in the World.

L.A. Castle Studios in Burbank is changing the way TV and movie production is done. With total reality, producers can shoot in what appear to be million dollar talk shows, game shows and news sets, ancient Roman palaces, gigantic space stations from the future, or anywhere else in the universe, past, present or future, all without set construction or location fees. The most advanced technology available to producers and filmmakers today — the Unreal Engine -- is set up and ready to go, combined with elite cinema cameras and lenses, so major entertainment studios, streaming services, television networks, and independent producers' productions can come to life, efficiently and easily.

The Unreal Engine allows for the procuring and creation of incredible sets and environments — often far beyond what can be built in the real world — and L.A. Castle Studios is the studio that brings those environments to life. We're the key that opens the door to the world of Unreal.

What TV creators and filmmakers have envisioned as the future - a blending of the real and the unreal -- is available right now at the coolest studio in the industry. Producers choose to film at L.A. Castle Studios because our technology and equipment make things easier - and the final product better -- than shooting the old fashioned way. When filming at L.A. Castle Studios, the directors, producers, camera people, and anyone else on set can actually see the talent inside the environment -- even though the set or location is not really there. Talent too can look in the monitors that surround the stage and see themselves inside the set. Everyone has the real-time tools they need to make sure their vision is realized live and in real time. What content creators of the past imagined as the future — is now here at L.A. Castle Studios.

Safety is a priority on set today. At L.A. Castle Studios, productions are safer than what can be accomplished in other locations. Our technology allows for big-time sets and locations to be created, dressed, managed, lit, and filmed with minimal crew. Some of our sets feature digital extra actors, further minimizing the number of people needed to be physically on set.

The L.A. Castle Studios facility includes a movie-theater sized LED wall that carries a live feed to the stage. This enables producers, directors, prompter operators, script supervisors, set supervisors, and more to work socially distanced inside our large facility while seeing and hearing exactly what’s happening on stage and controlling the production from a safe distance.

L.A. Castle Studios has recently installed MERV-13 HVAC, providing safe, clean air to further protect the safety of those on set and in the facility.

Filming at L.A. Castle Studios is better for the environment vs. traditional sets and locations. No trees are cut down to build sets, and no fuel is consumed travelling to distant locations. At the end of productions, there are no sets to fill up landfills. Our unique facility allows for productions of all sizes to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact.

Some studios are using LED walls for their Unreal Engine productions. What we do here goes far beyond what’s possible using an LED wall.

Our system allows producers to shoot single camera OR multi-camera, and with talent IN the virtual sets, not just in front of them. In LED setups, you can shoot with only one camera, and you must build a real set in front of the virtual set.

And post people are much happier vs. LED wall setups, because not only can we provide the composite of the talent in the environments, but also the background separately, the foreground separately, and the tracking / matte data, so changes and tweaks are easy. With LED, you get what you get, with little or no ability to fix or adjust.

The team at L.A. Castle studios has been pioneering virtual production since 2008 with studios in Florida and California. You’ll be hard-pressed to find any team more versed in the history, present, and future of TV and film production using virtual sets. L.A. Castle Studios is family owned and operated, meaning our clients are always working with people who are passionate about the success of their productions and the studio.

The L.A. Castle Studios facility is incredible. We’re fully equipped with all of the gear and equipment our clients are likely to need for almost any production, including television commercials, infomercials, talk shows, scripted TV programs, game shows, TV series, television pilots, and more.

Our facility is ultra-comfortable with large makeup rooms, dressing rooms, talent lounges, conference rooms, and production offices. We have two kitchens for our clients to use and for production meetings, and an in-house coffee shop called The Brick.

L.A. Castle Studios has redefined the science of cinema by making cutting edge technology available to content creators. We welcome any and all to take a tour of our facility to see if it would be a good fit for their next production.
